PCP
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has the name of a good PCP that is accepting new patients in the Salem/Keizer area. My husband is in need of a PCP and I use my ob/gyn as my pcp so that wouldn't be of help to him. Any help would be greatly appreciated, he moved here from Alabama and is on high blood pressure meds, thyroid meds, and cholesterol meds and hasn't seen a dr since being here.

When I lived in Salem in the early 1990s, I was a patient at the Salem Clinic. The clinic has a variety of specialities in there. I used the services of the clinic's gyn and internist.

Thanks a lot for your reply, he actually called Salem Clinic and they wanted 124.00 just for a visit, plus more for lab work. For now he ended up going to the Urgent Care Clinic in South Salem and was only charged 74.00 total. I would still like for him to find a good pcp, although he liked the dr he saw today and said that the guy spent a lot of time with him.

Hi Melody ~
I can't say enough good things about my husbands & my PCP: Dr. Patricia Weeks, with the Salem Clinic. She really takes the time to answer all of our questions, and even calls us at home to give any test results. She's very thorough. I like her so much that based my choice of insurance on whether or not she was a preferred provider.
