HELP ! I NEED A LOCAL SUPPORT GROUP

Hi,  I live in Creswell, OR and am having my surgery in Portland.  I need to find a local support group I can attend.  The local Bariatric Center in Eugene will only allow THEIR patients to attend support group meetings they have, so I am at a loss on how to find another one. 

Any Ideas?  I know there has to be more people here in our area who's had their surgery somewhere else.  What do you do?

There is a local support group that has been meeting monthly at the Market of Choice at 29th and Willamette.  The meeting is held upstairs above the coffee shop.  The next meeting is scheduled for Sept 17.
