Thanks so much! I was amazed to see 10 lbs., but I'm not going to be expecting this kind of lose later on. Right now, I'm just going to be delighted by it.

It is good to be home and seeing all my familiar things around. They were great at the hospital, but it ain't home, as the saying goes. Each day gets easier and I have a wonderful husband who takes great care of me and makes sure I get all my liquids in me.

You, by the way, are looking terrific in your photos. You are doing great!

Thanks again,
Vicki

Heather, you are a doll. So far, the recovery has been going well and I so hope it continues, too.

Your support group really is a wonderful place to learn and meet others about WLS and I am so glad I found it. You guys really are the tops in my book. I am really shooting to be at the next meeting - but will have to see if I can lose the pain meds before then.

Thanks again & "Lots of Love", too,
Vicki

Yeahhhh!!!  You did it and I'm so glad it was uneventful.  Every day will feel eventful as you learn your new system.  When ice seems like ice cream .....wait until you eat some oatmeal!  These first few weeks are a very gradual unfolding of things to come.  Then some day you will look back and wonder at how fast it all flew by.  Take your picture every couple of weeks.

Thanks Patty,
You are so right! I had not thought to take pictures every couple of weeks, but now I am definitely going to do it. Everyday I am noticing changes - or maybe it is just my imagination working overtime.
Right now I am on the creamy phase of the diet and I just about dropped my drawers over lemon pudding and cream of chicken soup. I found I don't need to do anything but taste and I am satisfied - 2 oz is definitely okay at this point.
I still think about food, but not obsessively. There are somethings I am sorta, kinda missing, but not desperate for it. I really like this feeling.
Thanks again for all your support,
Vicki
