wow does the weight loss really make a huge difference, wish I had done it sooner
Well I got a lot done yesterday
I spent 2 hours looking for the supplies I had bought about a year ago to fix the tiles in the shower I had them on the dining room table for months LOL because I had every intention of getting the job done before I lost tiles,, I went thru every nook and cranny I could have stuck them in, cussed the kids because I know they did something crazy in a house cleaning party and Dammit I could not find them I gave up and
went to homedepot,
bought stuff to regrout the shower AGAIN Came home started to scrape the bad grout out of the shower and thought a putty knife would be a good thing So I went to my garage got out the tub that contains all my painting supplies and wha la guess what I found LOL. The stuff I knew I had purchased to fix the shower LOL. OH I REMEMBER NOW LOL I PUT IT THERE.
GEEZER
So after hours of scraping and cleaning and regluing the tiles that fell off (because I waited so long) I was waiting for the adhesive to dry on the tiles that had gone bad I went outside to fix the section of the fence I took down to install the hot tub, that I was putting in my deck, Oh yea I had to rebuild my deck for that. realized I had to go back to home depot for some joist hangers as the old ones were crap, back to home depot, I remember to take the supplies I bought today and did not need (I don't know how) usually I forget these thing, got what I needed and a cool new toy (chop saw) that was on sale 99 down to 75 I had a 5 coupon and because I am military I get 10% off. woohoo I have a new toy.
Well, after rebuilding the fence I went back to the shower regrouted, wow what a job took me hours all together, was midnight when I finally finished, I soooo wanted a shower but I cant as we only have one and it just got regrouted. I have to admit my back was little sore and the old carpal tunnel woke me up a few times but I am so happy to be so sore from working so hard.
Couldn't have done this before surgery.
I love this weight loss thing
Still have 30 more lbs to go,, I need to do something drastic as I have not lost a lb in over 6 months but hey IM MOVING AND WITH NOT TO MUCH PAIN!!!!
Yeah Kelly! You have been one busy gal. My first thought was -- she bought new tiles, bet she found the old ones as soon as she got home from the store! It always works that way for me. I'm not moving so well because of a back injury, but hopefully, I will get it taken care of at the end of the month. It's good to hear that you are busy and loving the freedom of movement.
