I have a date!!!

I talked to Dr. Boulays office yesterday and Nicole told me I probably would have August 18th as my surgery date.  She submitted the insurance yesterday. today she called me to tell me that my pre-op appointment is on August 6th and that she had already got my approval from the insurance company.  That was very fast!  Just one day.  I am very excited and sick to my stomach at the same time.  I have waited so long but now it seems like it is going so fast.  My surgery will be at Salem Hospital on the 18th of August at 10:00.  YEA!!!!

I know how you feel - so excited and yet, so nervous and a little scared. The good thing is that after it is all done, we'll be going "piece of cake".

You'll be having your pre-op the day of my surgery.

Congratulations Lori!!!  There is so much ahead of you in your future.

Did you know that there is a group that meets at the McMinnville Hospital the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm?  We meet in the room closest to the cafeteria.  Come join us!  We are in all stages of our journey.  Some of us are preop some are post and losing and some of us old timers are completing the last of our PS journeys.

Every journey is an adventure even though we all share some commonalities we all walk it alone with others to support us along the way.

i have my first apt with dr.Boulay on the 27th she seems really nice what is your take? do you like having her as your doctor? im getting the bypass what are you getting?
