I'm sorry to hear your DH isn't behind you on this.  Which surgery are you having, and who will be your surgeon?  We'll be here to support you along the way.  Just pop back in whenever you have questions or want to share anything.

Linda

I am so happy for you and I agree it can be exciting and nerve wracking all at once. But, I am curious - what or who is a DH? I know once you tell me, I will go "of course".
All of us at OH will be very glad to be your support system.
Great News,

Hi Vicki!

You were wondering what a DH is.  Here is the following:
DH = darling hubby
DD = darling daughter
DS = darling son (but it could mean duodenal switch as well!)

Hope this helps!

Vicki

DS (lap) with Dr. Clifford Deveney. Cholecystectomy (lap) with Dr. Clifford Deveney 19 months post-op.

Has not weighed myself since 1/2010.  Letting my clothes gauge my progress instead.

Thanks, Vicki. I was going out of my head trying to figure that one out. I thought it might have something to do with husband, but the D threw me off.

Thanks again,
Vicki

All my test are going great. I have lost 10lbs in 5 days by doing slim-fast I have to lose 5% of my weight. So I just have 4 more lbs to lose. so, now i'm waiting to get my sleep study done which seems like its taking forever. Then the surgery. I have decided to get lap-band.
