Dropping The Pounds

Hello,  just an update on how I am coming along.  I am now eating pureed foods that I cook myself no baby food for me, yuck!  I am able to eat one cup of food for each meal with very little discomfort.  If I start to feel pressure on my chest bone I stop.  I like the fact that I am not overeating anymore.  The best part that since my surgery on 7-9-08 I have lost ten pounds already.  I am shocked.  Also, I am walking.  Yesterday, I went to the mall with my daughter and walked all over.  I had to take breaks mainly because my feet hurt, other than that I did fine.

Way to go, girl. That is awesome. Right now I can not imagine walking without pain, but after reading about your walking, I am excited about my surgery to be able to experience what you have.
Great job, Sheryl,

Good for you Sheryl!  I'm glad to hear you feel pretty good and can get some walking in.  Within a few months, you'll probably have that feeling of being able to fly when you walk!  I remember realizing one day that nothing hurt anymore and I almost thought I could run!!   Unfortunately, I have some bad discs in my back and will need to have those fixed before running enters my daily routine, but I intend to get there.  Congratulations to you!

Linda
