Sleep study

 I just mailed in my applicaton. I want to get this done so bad. So, does anyone know if I can go ahead and make an appointment for my sleep study. Or do I have I have to wait?  TIA   Monique

I suppose it will depend on your insurance.  I had my sleep study done before my initial visits with the WLS office. Linda

I agree - I think it depends on your insurance.  I did my sleep study and my psych. evaluation prior to the other appointments., but I am self pay.  If you are self pay, the main thing I was told was to be sure you were accepted for the surgery first so you don't pay for the sleep study and then find out that you can't do the surgery... then you would have spent the money for no reason.  I hopes this helps a little.

I have BC?BS PEBB also .  I think you'd be okay starting the sleep study before.  You might want to call and confirm. Linda
