Nine and counting Or who is counting

Nine days and counting. Lindas surgery is on the 1st. She has a bad cold this am so My Job is making Chicken soup. You did not know I was a Jewish Grandmother. Amp up on the Vitamin C and kick this cold. I do not belive it is in her chest so maybe it is not a problem. Anyway hate to have to delay at this late date .  Have a great day Taylor

Chicken soup is indeed one of the best things for a cold.  I hope Linda is feeling great in no time and ready for her surgery.  I think you're right, if it's not in her chest, they can probably go ahead.  One of the biggest concerns after general anesthesia is getting those lungs going again, so they generally don't operate if you have a chest cold.  Prayers for the end of the cold are on their way.  Of course, it would help if the weather would clear up!! Linda has time to cycle through a cold by the 1st.  My daughter just finished a cold and gave it to her sister.  I hope we are all well by this Friday because we are going on vacation.  My son lives in Corvallis now and his allergies have just exploded this past couple of weeks.  Nothing is working.  I noticed a lot of turf showrooms and growing of grass seed going along the drive down there.  Probably makes it worse though plenty of people are having trouble right here in Portland.  He's looking forward to not having much grass in the southwest.  We use the Nyquil in our house.  I think they are most concerned with fever as far as surgery goes.  I'm thrilled your dates are almost here! Thanks  Patty, Linda layed low all day. I think she feels a bit better. The Poplur< cottonwood > are in bloom we have a lot of acres of the things . They drive allergies nuts as well. She is trying to get well for work. Her employer is giving her some sick leave for her surgery so she wants finish out this next week for them . I think we are about set need to pack for OHSU is all thats left. WOW what a long journey to arrive at this stage .  Thank you all. Taylor

For me it has been so typical to get super sick anytime before I need to go in the hospital.  ( I was deathly ill on the days both of my kids were born).  At least she is getting sick now, instead of the day of.  Vitamin C her up and get busy Grandma
