Salem Support Group Tomorrow WEDNESDAY at 6:30pm in Salem Hospital

Hello Oregon,      There is a Salem area support group tomorrow night! That is, Wednesday, June 18, 2008. The group starts at 6:30 pm and meets in the Salem Hospital. --Main Bldg-(Wedel Center)-basement floor-Rm.D-- Don't hesitate to call 971-388-1913 or email [email protected] for more info.      We are not affiliated with the Salem Hospital or their WLS support group and/or department which is dedicated for their patients only, but instead just gratefully use their facility for a place to meet. They have a seperate group which has a different schedule. The Salem Hospital has us listed as the NON-Salem Hosp Support group (formerly OWLS). OWLS is still functioning, but we have recently detached from their name and are working on a new name. We'll keep you updated!      Absolutely everyone is welcome to this group including pre-op patients, support people for surgery patients, & people seeking info on WLS &/or just starting the process or curious. (I've had a lot of ppl ask)     The support groups are completly FREE of charge & there are no donations asked for.     We hope you can come if you're interested and if not, we will see you next time! Man, I'm so bummed I missed the meeting! I thought it was still another week out. I need to put it on my calendar so I remember. Hope it was a good meeting!

Yes, it was a waonderful meeting. It was a little less formal than usual due to a smaller amount of people. It was nice though because everyone was able to ask all their questions. Sometimes, the summer groups are smaller, but then again, it's always a mystery. I always feel a bit more encouraged after a meeting. Thanks to everyone who was able to attend.
