any support groups in the albany area??

trying to help a friend find a support group in the albany area????????

Hi, I was trying to start a group in the Albany area, but ran into a road block trying to find a place to meet. I have completed the support group leader training, and am still working on setting up a possible group. I know there is a new group down in Eugene, and another group that meets at the Salem Hospital. I will post any updates, if I start a goup in this area soon. Hello Christina,ne  I live in Albany and just got my approval from Ins. yesterday and had my third nutrition class in Eugene last night. I am having the bypass procedure from Sacred Heart Bariatrics in Eugene. I would love a Support group. I would like to talk to you about your experience also. Can we get together some time? I live in Albany and there isn't one that I know of. I do go to one in Corvallis through the Bariatric program I am in at Good Samaritan at the hospital there. I had my surgery with Dr Read there. It meets once a month. I am interested in finding another one to! Michelle
