update from Cindy the Kelp Kween
sorry i have been out of touch. i will try to catch up on the happenings around OH. i have been in portland for about 2 weeks now.
my weight has been stable at 184, but i think i am definitely putting on muscle mass now, as i started up at the gym immediately upon moving here. i have been going about 3-4x a week, doing yoga and water aerobics.
i also walk about 1-2 miles every day, as per usual, when i take the doggies for a walk. now it is at a doggie park, instead of the dirt road that overlooked the ocean. but they love it! they get to socialize with other dogs, and that is a wonderful trade off. (i doubt they cared about the view much anyway). the park is a new one, really nice, near lake oswego. if any of you all are nearby, let's meet!
i plan to start weight training today. my DD is skilled, and will be showing me the ropes, so to speak.
yesterday she and i both noticed how loose my clothing is getting (we're talking the stretch levi's, which have a LOT of stretch in them! they're actually getting too lose to wear w/o a belt!!) my legs are getting skinnier, i can see the shape of my knees! how cool is that!
