Great and Good Luck, It seemed at OHSU they did not submit unless they were sure you could be approved. We will keep our fingers crossed.

I have united healthcare and their only requirement for surgery is a BMI of 40 or 35 with co morbidities.  So I pray they approve it soon!

Congratulation on being submitted that means you have jumped thru a few hurtles. Yeah!.  It goes pretty quickly after the submission,  At least it feels that way to me after having had to wait one year before I could get my insurance submitted.  My surgery is scheduled for July 1.  I am so excited and wishing you the best also.  Linda

Yay for you! My stuff went out just before/after the holiday weekend, so I'm hoping to hear next week. Did you find yourself getting more impatient the closer you got? I did! We are gonna look so great by Christmas! Or even Halloween!

Good luck!!!  Also, how did you know that you might have sleep apnea?  I'm curious if I should get the sleep study done too.

It was a requirement of OHSU to have the study done.  But I knew I had it before because of the way I snored and I was told I stopped breathing in my sleep.
