Time for a new goal...

I had set my original goal weight at 250 pounds. This was in all reality an arbitrary number I picked, not being sure what I wanted to get to. Well, this morning I got on the scale and I weigh 248 pounds. Goal of 250 reached and exceeded. So now that I am at this weight I have decided I wouldn't mind being another 15 pounds lighter. At my current weight I am still obese according to the BMI chart. At 235 I would merely be overweight. I think I can live with overweight. So, original goal met, and new one established. What a wild and wonderful ride this has been!

That's so great!  I went through with my surgery, but I didn't feel the faith that it was going to work.  Then when it did I waited for the other shoe to drop.  I never had a goal weight number (girls mostly have a pants size that would mean everything) but I finally got to a weight that I was able to say "if I don't lose another pound ever again I would be happy with this".  That feels wonderful.  I'd like to lose another fifteen, but if not it's still great.  It's just so cool isn't it!!!
