Hi Cin,  Welcome to the Oregon board.  There are support groups at OHSU but I know nothing about them yet.  Linda

Welcome Cin!  There are, as Linda said, support groups at OHSU and a bunch of the Portland-area folks on this board get together from time to time to have breakfast.  Nice to meet you! Linda

Hi Cin! Welcome to the board! This board is where local issues are posted.  The folks in the Portland and Eugene-Springfield areas have informal get togethers every once in a while.  Those are posted on this board at least a week or so in advance.  Sometimes they request "head counts".  Since I will be having surgery real soon, I probably won't be able to attend the next one if it is in May or June.
