Things starting to move along

I have been trying to get a hold of Heather at OHSU for the last week. Left several messages.  I called this morning and she answered her phone finally.  I wanted to know if I was still in review. She said she got my chart back this morning and she can go ahead and schedule my first appts.  So July 8 I have an appt with the dietitian and the nurse practitioner. Yee haw.  Finally, things starting to move along.  They also want me to get cardiac clearance so I called my PCPs office and requested a referral for that.  So things are looking up.  Got the first month done for my six month medically supervised diet done too and lost 16 lbs. So five more months to go for that.  Linda

Worst time to call H is in the afternoons between 1 and 4, since she is contacting patients the day before their surgeries.  And patients are calling her for their check-in times the day before their surgeries, too. Best time to call H is in the morning. Best of luck with your appts with the NP and dietician!

Thank you, Vicki.   Your day is coming up really soon.  How exciting.     Thanks for the tip on calling H.  I had been calling in the afternoon because one time I actually did get her about 2:00, so I just kept trying around then.  Next time I will call try in the morning like I did today.  Linda
