I'm home
I am home and on the road to recovery. The surgery went well. I am in so much pain but I am a big baby that does not tolerate certain pain well. I am walking on my gazelle, sipping my drinks, and resting. Now for some meds so I can got o sleep. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Keep them coming, I need them to get through this. Thank you!!!!
Welcome home, islegirl!
Glad to see that your surgery was well-tolerated.
Since you're in so much pain, please make every effort to take pain meds on schedule to nip the pain in the bud before it gets worse.
Take it easy and get plenty of rest.
Remember to sip often.
Take short walks frequently.
Best of luck on your safe and successful recovery!

Make sure you take your pain meds on schedule. If you miss a dose, it's a lot harder to get the pain to go away than it is to keep it at bay. Don't think you're a wimp if you need to take it till it's just about gone. That's what it's there for! Congrats on making it to the loser's bench.

Linda I was very fortunate that I didn't have to take the liquid pain meds. They gave me percocet in pill form without the acetamenophen (or however the heck you spell that). They are tiny little pills and I was able to swallow them easily (they're about half the size of a tic-tac). Maybe you should ask your doctor if that is an option for you.

Welcome home! There will come a day soon enough that you will once again be able to flop onto the bed without lots of pillows and lowering at a slow pace. Kids and dogs were not very tolerant to my problems, but I tried to stay one pillow block ahead of them! Rest and be easy on yourself. It will be getting a bit easier every day.
