Thank you all for coming to the Eugene Springfield support group meeting last night. We are growing in number while shrinking in size! It was good meeting new friends as well as seeing the usual suspects! 
If you haven't received an invitation to join the Eugene/Springfield board here on OH and would like to check it out, please PM me your email and I'll send you one. It has messages about the meetings, links to webpages that some of you will find helpful, and is a place where you can post topics or ask questions specific to our smaller group, etc. Our next meeting is scheduled for May 14th - same time, same place. We might have to start looking for a bigger place to meet. Of course, spring is here and we might look forward to some outdoor activities soon.

Has not weighed myself since 1/2010. Letting my clothes gauge my progress instead.

Right now, my hair is a bit longer and I plan on getting a little trim here 'n there a few days before surgery.

Hi Linda, I want to come to a meeting soon---maybe next time. I had to go to Klamath Falls yesterday for my two year check up with my RNY surgeon. All is well. Anyway, tired after that trip and the day before I was in Eugene for a 3 week follow-up with Dr. Jewell, PS and all is well there too. I will return to work next Wednesday 1/2 days then full time the next week. I wanted to check and see if you have several people who have had Lap band who attend your group? There is someone here who is planning Lap band at OSHU and needs/wants to attend a meeting where there are several lap banders. Julia
