Day two of 5 Day pouch test

Today was MUCH easier than day one, I have, so far, had two small bowls of soup, one shake, and 13 8oz glasses of water.   Tomorrow, I get to eat something with substance, I have had lots of hunger and the drinking has only helped a little, so Tuna sounds sooo awesome to me right now! Brandi

Yeah You!!! Is the dog OKAY!?!LOL I did pretty good...no kiddo junk!!! YEAH ME!!! Breakfast- 3 eggs Lunch- 1 small piece thincrust meat lovers pizza small salad no dressing Dinner Small flour tortilla w/meat, beans, cheese, letttuce and tomatoes not enough protein..69 grams carbs...53 grams (damn impressive) Calories...1120 (need more) check in tomorrow!!!

You had me at MEAT LOVERS!! For breakfast today I had 1/2 can of chicken (YUCK) and a few slices of tomato and cucumber.  BLECK!!! I didn't eat much b/c it was sooo nasty.  I made some hard boiled eggs and am waiting for them to chill in the fridg a bit......I imagine they will taste like cheesecake to me after that nasty canned chicken!  You did awesome on the carbs, I am such an addict, it has been a real struggle for me, Your counting calories??? That is impressive!!!!! I think I had about 800 yesterday....cause it was still liquid diet day.  I need to up my protein for sure today.....but...yes,,,,the dog is fine.  I am past the worst.  :) We rock! Brandi

Pizza was my little splurge!!! The kiddos and I were shopping and we were HUNGRY!! I can't believe you even tried to eat that NASTY canned chicken You were DESPERATE!!!lol I punch my meals into www.fitday.com  and it gives me all my info. It really keeps me in line (if I do it!!)  Doin' pretty good so far today....had half a multigrain bagel, part of a banana, half an orange and an egg..did have to put a little strawberry preserves on the bagel to choke it down.  Still in range for my goal for the day!!! I'll check back in tonight!!! Glad the dog is now safe!!! Deanna

It is nasty, but day three doesn't give me many options...I have kicked the carb cravings in the nuts today!!! (after I gave in and stole one (or three) of my mom's french fries, the WITCH brought them over!! LOL!   Brandi

Good for you..and hey your only HUMAN!!! I remember calling my Mom a B%&!H right after surgery...she made my hubby BACON and eggs OMG...I have NEVER been sooo mad!!!LOL We laugh now!!  I did really good until dinner....I had cheese and ham rolls  with a touch of honey mustard and cottage cheese for lunch, snacked on a 1/4 of a cup of Almonds through out the day rather than the kiddos PRETZELS!!! I did have one pretzel in my mouth befoer I even realized it...BAD MOMMY!!! Then it all went to heck from there...I had mac n cheese and chicken nuggets with the kiddos ...Hubby isn't home yet and I was HUNGRY!!! but all in all not as bad as most days have been lately...PROTEIN-72    CARBS-81   CALORIES-1230 ANYWHO...tomorrow is another day!!! Have a GREAT evening and we'll confess again tomorrow!!! DEANNA

Day four, one chicken breast & Italian dressing, two ground beef burritos with high fiber/low fat/low carb wheat tortillas, one s/f pudding and fluids down.  Whew!! I didn't calorie count that, but I imagine it is about where I should have been the past few years anyway.  And how goes the battle for you?????

Oh, yeah I also had a maple bar, I feel as though I am going to hell for that one, can we just pretend I didn't cheat????  Donuts are a itsy bitsy weakness for me, is there a donuts support group somewhere or a priest I can confess to???

Hello...My name is Deanna and I'm a Donut aholic...okay not so much anymore...used to just LOVE apple fritters and just plain glazed...oooohhh BABBBY!!!!LOL I really think they should have a 12 step program for bariatric patients. And YES you are going to food HELL for that one...right along with me and my CHOCOLATE!!! P.S. I'M the BLONDE one and am supost to make the goof ball mistakes about where to post..YOU are suppost to keep us straight!!!!LOL

AT least SOMEBODY is enjoying this, LOL!  I did good! Day three is over and I had a chicken breast baked with Itlalian dressing (YUMMY) and got in all my fluid.  I am peeing a river though, my man thought I was preggo again!!  I made my daughter chx nuggies tonight and didn't have a one! But omigod they smelled like heaven.  Self control is getting stronger, but my mind is still playing tricks on me and I am having a hard time deciding if I am hungry, full, or something in between.  Tomorrow, on my way to church, I am not going to deny myself my "christian crack" SF Carmel Mocha!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Coffee is a fluid, right? My coffee is my weekly treat (ok, maybe daily) but I am TRYING!!!
