Surgery Approval

Thank you all.  I am grateful for the support.  What a year.  I have finally gotten approval from both of my insurance carrier's now it is in OHSU ballpark.   I don't know what the runaround was about but when I got to work yesterday there was a message from pre authorization  stating that the surgery was approved by Kaiser.  I called Regence today and they said I did not need any further preautorizion as they were not the primary only the secondary carrier.  Whooooo Hooooo.  After this year this wait will be small.  I am hopeful for having surgery sometime in June.  It would work out best for my job and My husband Chujo.  He is also very excited for me.  He so wants to be helpful and supportive.  I know he will do a great job.  All of you who give him support is very helpful  again thank you.  Love Linda

Thank you. I feel very blessed that I have as much support in my life as I do.  Now I am going to concentrate on getting thru this next few weeks while Taylor is at work.  Always a hard time for me.  I have a plan and my daughter is very willing to spend as much time with me as needed.  I know that I will be ok.  One day, one thought , one breath at a time.  I would love to hook up with you guys for a meeting again.  It was super meeting you.  Linda

Congratulations to you! I am also going through OHSU. Which type of surgery and which surgeon? I'm still waiting for my initial consult with NP and nutritionist. I was wondering how long it took to get surgery date after insurance approval. Thanks, Brenda
