Don't know about the vitamin thing, but perhaps a phone call might get better response than an email to a Dr. office.

Hi there.  I noticed that you and I had the same surgeon.  I'll tell you what Dr. Jan has me taking daily, but you should still try to get someone from his office to give you his list for you. Centrum silver chewables/ 2 per day B-12, under the tongue/ 1 per day B-complex/ 1 per day Calcium Citrate (I take Citracal petites)/ 2 in the am and 2 in the pm Niferex Gold (presciption iron supplement w/stool softener)/ 1 per day Omega3 fish oil capsule (suggested but not mandatory) 1 per day Hope this helps.   Nola

Freddies (probably elsewhere, too) carries a product called ALL ONE. This was prescribed for me after surgery to help heal. It is made for those with malabsorption issues. I take it in a small amount (the smaller, the better) of juice and just gulp it down in one or two swallows. Has everything you need. tee

I had the Roux en Y nine years ago.  I take two bariatric multi vitamins  from Building Blocks per day.  I also take Citrical 1600mg per day and B12 twice a week sublingual.  In addition I take 2 flax seed oil cap per day and 1,000mg Vitamin C and 200mcg of Selenium.  If I was still having periods I would take iron replacement.  I hope this helps. I don't know what your doc will recommend.  OHSU RNY patients are told to take  2 Flintstones complete with iron (one morning, one night) Citracal Petites 2 twice a day B12 either under the tongue daily or an injection once a month. Linda

Hi! My doctor recommends vitamins called Bariatric Advantage. I take 3 calcium, 1 B-12, 2 multi-vitamins and 1 iron from them daily. They come in really good flavors!  I order them online at bariatriceating.com
