Welcome! I used to go with my mom to visit my maternal grandma a few blocks from the old Safeway store on Commercial Street in South Salem when I was a kid. I also lived behind the Safeway store in West Salem in the early 1990s and used to say that I lived on the "other side of the bridges" and in "the flat". I had one of my operations at OHSU rather than Salem Hospital while I lived in Salem. Hope to see more of you on this board!
