Well I got released from the hospital this afternoon, spent only 2 days in there. Surgery went well, no immediate complications. Did the barium swallow and had no leaks. Pain was intense the first day, but much better the second. Right now just drinking optisource and crystal light.

Glad to hear you made it home. Yes, the pain gets better every day. Make sure you do some walking if you can -- you'll get that anesthesia out of you all the quicker for it. Congrats on making it to the loser's bench. Linda
