First Eug/Spfld Meeting - Wednesday, March 19

I will complete the leader training this coming Saturday, and have scheduled our first meeting at the Market of Choice, 29th and Willamette Streets, from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19th.  We probably won't actually start the meeting till 6:00, but everyone can come and get something to eat or drink, and settle in around 5:30.  The meeting room is upstairs above the coffee bar/deli at the front of the store on the right.  It's fortunate that we have this space available to use for free.  Plus, there's plenty of parking in that lot, even though at times it seems a bit crowded.  It will be great to see you all again.  I have a feeling, by seeing some of the new pictures on line, that I will barely recognize some of you.  If you know of anyone who is considering surgery, please invite them to attend.  I'm off to see about getting an announcement in the paper. I can't wait to see you!  You're doing so well at your weight loss.  You can come and be scared right along with me.  I'm not used to running meetings.  I think we'll just get something to eat and then sit and chat.  I'll have some handouts of information if people want them. Linda

Hey Linda!  :)  Thanks for leading this group! I will be there!  I'm writing it on my calendar right now :)  any excuse to drive to Market of Choice is good for me!  I love their SF Oatmeal Pecan cookies in their bakery.  My guilty pleasure. Looking forward to seeing everyone again...

LOL - sometimes I think I must be crazy for doing this, but OH and support are so very important to me.  I think our success depends on being able to talk with others and take good care of ourselves.  Since the local docs only allow their own patients, I figured it would be good to have a group where all are welcome.
