A few people in my support group use a shampoo and conditioner called "Nioxxin".There are a couple different places to get it, but I only remember they said the beauty supply stores and hair salons sell it. The clerk will probably know more about it. They say it works and you can also start using it before it even starts to fall out in the first place. I've also heard people talking about Biotin and protein. I wonder if anyone really knows for certain what works, but it seems trying to get vital nutrients (and probably protien) would be impotant for strong, healthy hair. I have never heard of this before, but I would ask my doctor about pre-natal vitamins. Just a thought-- Also, I would take this oppurtunity to wear all those winter hats I got for Xmas presents. LOL Good Luck with everything. ~~***Heather
I just looked at your new picture-you look SO gorgeous! Wow! I also had hairloss at 4 months out. I figure I lost 1/2 my hair, although nobody else seemed to notice. It was very stressful and I know how you feel! It completely stopped at about 7 months out for me. I made sure I was getting 80g of protein a day, and added a chewable zinc supplement twice a day-I've heard that can help. Now, my hair is filling in again and looking much better. Good luck-this is temporary!
