I'm not sure how, but I feel like I may have a stricture.  If you've had one, can you tell me about your symptoms?  Thanks!

Hi Kim, mine started with not being able to keep down previously-OK foods like tuna and scrambled eggs. Then, I couldn't keep down thick liquids like milk, either. I would eat or drink something, then I would get a sharp pain of it being stuck, then I would throw up. Definitely call Dr Deveney's office, because you need to get it taken care of asap so you won't get dehydrated. Good luck!

I have my appt. for Thursday.  I'm getting plenty of liquid and won't dehydrate.  I was at ER yesterday, but that's another post.

Kim: I had to be scoped twice, the 1st time, I ate a bite of a chicken nugget too soon, and it got stuck, I could'nt even swallow meds or water, it all came back up.  I was on TPN 2 months after surgery, the surgeon told me I was starting to get anerexic, and I thought to myself, right me,?  No way, but I was really sick for and had to have the home health nurse come in and do labs and show my husband how to hook me up to this thing at night.  Then I got really dehydrated, my blood pressure went way down.  I am almost 18 months out, I am half of what I used to be, exercise with a personal trainer 3x a week, and chase after 20 month twins, boy/ girl while my husband is at work.   That is how I get my cardio when I can't make it to the fitness center.
