Anyone know of Dr's in Oregon that do the VG?

Hello all, I'm still taking a look around at all of my options for surgery before making a chioce. I am leaning towards the DS but want to get some more info on the VG before I decicde for sure.

Is there anyone here in Oregon that had to VG? If so, which doc?

Since the VSG is one part of the DS surgery, Dr. Deveney of OHSU should be able to do the VSG as a stand-alone surgery.  He did a revision to a stand-alone VSG on one of our dear friends about 5 or 6 weeks ago. Neither Dr. O'Rourke nor Dr. Wolfe of OHSU performs the VSG.

Hi There.  I too am looking into the Vertical Sleeve.  I contacted Dr. Deveney at OHSU and he does not do the procedure as a stand alone procedure for new patients.  He only does it as a revision or part of the DS surgery.  I am going to Dr. Oh in Federal Way, WA.  I am self pay and it will cost the same as the lap band ($13,000).  I was unable to find ANY surgeon on Oregon who does just the Vertical Sleeve.
