CLOTHING EXCHANGE
UPDATE: I was successfully able to find new owners for all my extra clothing. I will be shipping the boxes COD if I can.
To those of you *****plied, I apologize for not being able to offer any more clothes. I will keep my eye/ear out for any of my friends locally who are going through their clothes too!

I live in the Metro Portland / Vancouver area. I have MANY MANY Newer clothes ranging in sizes from 16-24 that I will never wear again.
Is there a way to get together for a clothing exchange? I think it would be great to get together and help each other out with clothing as we all get smaller and smaller.
If this isn't a good option.....
I am considering just taking the clothes (professional wear and casual) out to Vernonia and donating them to the flood victims but I dont' think there is a donation program anymore. I might be too late.
Anyone interested in my clothes, just send me an email. I am tall (5'10 almost) and I have long legs, but pants can be hemmed. I also have some great shorts for summer coming up.
Someone please, help me get this stuff out of my drawers and closets to someone who will wear them!

On occasion, we get together in casual environments in the Portland and Eugene areas. The last time I went to the one in Springfield a couple of months ago, there was a clothing exchange. Because several of us have had operations recently, it may be another month or two before we get together again.
Since you have professional quality clothes, consider donating them to the Dress for Success in Portland. The store really need plus-size (size 16 and up) outfits. Here is the link to the local website:
