Hi everyone ,I'm still having trouble with an ulcer. Also my gums and all arround the inside of my mouth are all red, the doctor said he doesn't think its from my surgery, but I feel it is. Maybe some vitimin I am not getting enough of. Have any of you had this problem? Jo Ann

I've heard several people mention this and I did have a few days when there was more red in the sink than just my cinnamon toothpaste!  I just made sure I had a soft bristle tooth brush and upped the number of times I brushed each day, making sure I took extra time to massage my gums with the toothbrush.  It seemed to work for me.  I would imagine that if you've got an ulcer, that sort of bacteria can reach further up in the digestive tract.  I hope all is well for you soon. I've heard of others mentioning this as well.  When did you last get labwork done?  My dentist recommends copper supplements for gum bleeding.  Maybe you're a bit low?  I wouldn't add supplements without first consulting a doctor, though, since you're dealing with that ulcer and many supplements can be tough on your stomach. I hope you're feeling better soon! Lori

I too have heard from people with this. I work in the Dental field and I would recomend going in to let them check you out. They can prescribe a oral mouth rinse (Peridex) That should help with this. Tara
