LOL - As I told my physical therapist, what could be better than lying on the couch on happy drugs, looking at the pretty lights on the Christmas tree?    I think that will get boring pretty quick, but I have lots of movies to watch and have lots of books on tape.  I'm hoping to just relax and heal.  I do need to walk, and I'll do that as much as I can. Linda, being happy on the couch and watching the Christmas lights and getting bored---depends on the drugs and the lights!!!   Sleeping Julia

Good luck with the surgery on Monday.  Am sure you will heal fast, especially now that you are healthier............... Keep us posted.

I'm so sorry to hear you've been in so much pain. I sure hope this will put an end to it. Your special, and have always been here for people needing to hear from someone out there. My prayers will be with you and I also would be happy to help you if you need something and can't get out. Carolee

Is the South Valley in a time warp? I think drugs, Christmas lights and old movies sounds like you're back in the the summer of '69!

Seriously though, I'm sending along my prayers for your freedom form pain and speedy recovery.

Patty - some of us who grew up in the 60s and 70s never left.  Not something I do all the time, but I can still appreciate pretty lights and colors. Linda

I'm an old hippie myself - I just strung LED lights all over the living room!
