Hi Julia - I didn't hear from Henry today.  I took a pain pill for my back and fell asleep on the couch this evening, so I didn't get to call him.  I'll call in the morning (at a respectable hour) and see how she's doing.  I'm hoping no news is good news. Linda

Linda,  I am hoping so too.  Do you know if they were able to do it lap or did they have to go open?   Shorter recovery with the lap which would be good for her.  Julia

I don't know.  I realized when I got off the phone with him yesterday, that I had forgotten to ask, but he called while she was still in recovery, so he hadn't seen her yet.  He did want us to know that he was so grateful for everyone here supporting Kim through all this.  We've been a big part of her life while she's been so weak.  I'm praying she makes a full recovery, gains back to a healthy weight and gets the insurance company to cover it!
