Kim is out of surgery x-post

I just got a call from Kim's husband.  She just came out of surgery and will be in recovery for about an hour before he can see her.  The doc says they had to totally reverse her mini gastric bypass.  What she has now is just a smaller stomach, as you would have if you got a gastric sleeve.  They re-connected all of her intestine.  I'll do a separate post in case anyone misses this here. Thanks all for your care and messages.  She will be glad to know so many are thinking about her. Henry will call me later this evening or tomorrow morning to give us an update. Linda

Great to see that Kim is finally out of surgery and is now recovering!  Hope she will be in a hospital room by this evening. Best of luck to Kim in her recovery!

Wow...finally she is done...now lets hope it works well for her. I am sure she'll begin to feel better / gain or maintain with all her intestines intact!

I'm so glad she was able to not completely reverse everything, the sleeve has pretty good results too!  Congrats KIM!!!
