Wholly Cow!! I can wear that????
I made it through my first Thanksgiving Holiday after surgery. It really wasn't that hard. I was amazed. I spent all day cooking and when it came time to eat, I could only eat a few bites of each dish. I had only a couple of bites of pie for dessert and was ok with that!! What a great feeling.
But the best feeling came this last Saturday when I had to go and get some new pants. I started off in the Women's section but when all was said and done, I ended up fitting into and buying a pair of Size 16 Dockers upstairs in the regular sizes!! WOW!! I could hardly believe it. I am finally out of plus sizes!!!!!
Hey, that's great! I know what you mean about Thanksgiving-while my family was complaining about being so stuffed they wanted to die, I felt great! Like you, I had a little bit of each thing and felt fine. Congratulations on getting out of the plus sizes-it's a whole new world for you now! Enjoy your new freedom to shop virtually anywhere-it's a blast!
I made Thanksgiving for the 4 of us, me, my husband and twins boy/ girl who are almost 19 months old, I too only ate a few spoon fulls of what I cooked, My kids ate more than I did. My personal trainer gave me a box of clothes that used to belong to his ex sister in law who had RNY a couple of yrs ago, I tried some of them on, they are 10 sizes smaller, 3 pairs of blue jeans, I even need a belt for. What a marvelous feeling. I have'nt been able to wear jeans since I was a teen ager. I will be 50 Thursday. My how time flies!!
