OT: Any know about this Oregon kicker refund?

I am surious if anyone knows anything about this kicker refund that I have heard about.  Has anyone received one yet?  Do you know when we are to receive them by?  Just a little curious be cause I haven't ever received one and I have always paid taxes to Oregon. Thanks

Michelle - by statute, the kicker has to be in the mail by December 15th.  Look for it just before Christmas. Linda

I don't know anyone who has gotten one and I seriously doubt that the State would have any incentive to mail them early.  Just means they lose interest on that money. Linda

We got one once a few years ago. It only amounted to a couple hundred dollars though. I dont remember what time of the year it came. Tina

This year they changed how they determine your kicker amount.  They are using your preadjusted tax amount so the kicker for each person should be larger than in the past.

Hi D.  I'm sorry I don't know of any support groups in the Salem area.  There used to be one at Salem Hospital but I am not sure if it is still there or not.  If you hear of any, please let me know.

I paid taxes to Oregon last year, but it is my understanding that if you don't "LIVE" in Oregon, you don't get the kicker. If this is true, neither you or I will get anything even though we paid into it. Jen
