brenda again

Well all I stopped by to see Brenda yesterday, her family was taking showers so I didn't get too much info, but from what the nurse says, looks like she is still fighting some sort of infection ( her white blood cell count is up again ) and she has a fever.  they have removed her picc line( long term iv) and stopped dialysis to find out where the infectio is comming from.  She is slowly comming out of the sedation but does not respond yet to voices, just kinda of moving her head back and forth and liftting her arms. I will update again when I here more love and hugs and thanks for all the well wishes amy

Thanks so much for the update Amy.  How are you feeling?  Are you getting stronger, or still feeling tired?  Recovery was pretty easy for me with nothing except two cats to care for.  I can imagine it's difficult to care for your family, visit sick friends in the hospital and report back to us!! Thanks for keeping us updated.  I'm sorry to hear there isn't more dramatic improvement, but hopefully they can find out where the infection is coming from so they can address that.  I will keep her and her family in my prayers. I hope you are recovering ok.  It's got to be hard on you too.  Please take care of yourself too!

Amy, I just had a quick minute to check in and see if there was any news. I am so thankful you are keeping us updated. I will continue to pray for her complete recovery. I hope they find the source of the infection fairly soon.  Thanks Again,  Christina And remember to take care of yourself too!!!
