I like to read Michelle's blog too.  She has such good recipes for stuff I actually feel like eating! I've got the PS fund started. Linda

Hi All :) I'm Rebecca, age 39, live in Cottage Grove (about 30 min. south of Eugene).  I'm 1 and 1/2 years out, lost almost 130 lbs. total (highest 288, surgery around 260, weigh 156 now).  Wearing size 8.  Have maintained weight now for 10 months :) I just moved here from Calif. almost a year ago, so I'm happy to make new friends!  Nice to meet you all! :)

Hi everyone.  I'm Colleen.  I had RNY last Wed, 10/24, and I'm well on my way (or weigh?) to health.  Heighest weight ever, 3 years ago, was 316.  When I first saw the surgeon back in April of this year, I was 294.  I had to complete a required 6-month weight loss and nutrition course before approval for surgery, so by my presurgical visit the week before surgery, I was down to 273.   Drop me a line if you want to share or hear how things are doing with me.  Would be nice to meet people going through the same experience.  I do attend the local support meetings for my bariatric clinic in the newbie group (pre- and 6-mths postop), so if you see me there, give me a hug :D And just so you have no question about my character or personality type, here is the type of thing you are apt to hear from me....and I really do need an answer, as the nurse hasn't called back yet this morning (hasn't been long, so I'm not complaining).  Has anyone else newly postop had liquid, yellow, stringy poo?  This looks NOTHING like what I've eaten, and unless someone corrects me (or I can get some info on Google to the contrary), I'm going to assume this may be fat leaving my body...in which case I would stop finding it repulsive, repugnant and disturbing and consider it an event to rejoice over.  REJOICE, I SAY!

Congratulation on your recent surgery...................where in Oregon do you live?

As far as your question, I have no answer, but do suggest that you post the question on the main Oregon board, where it may get noticed faster....or even post in on the RNY message board.  Do hope you are able to get an answer!
