Brandon, this "ROLE CALL"   is a great idea.  We have had new people come in and others chime in that haven't in a while.  We should do this more often---monthly??   Julia

I thought reponse was fantastic!!  , where people  were from and which surgery, and theweight lost......newbies just beginning the process and of course those that are a little more seasoned.  It was so cool to see this board come alive......

Great job Brandon!  I've really enjoyed reading these too.  Things got awfully quiet here this summer.  I've been spending most of my on-line time over on the main board.  It's good to see people that I've met or at least familiar faces posting and then to have the newbies come is GREAT!  I agree with Julia - doing this monthly might be really fun. Hi:  Have not been on the Board for quite some time.  I am 10 1/2 months out from RNY and happy to say I am 111 pounds less then Christmas of last year.  Emma Patterson was my doctor and I have had not one bit of trouble.  My co-worker and I were just one month apart and between us we have lost 200 lbs.  We live out in North Central Oregon and work for County Government.  Everyone that works with us is amazed.  I am definitely not a spring chicken so it proves that age does not stop you; you just need to go for it.  The roll call is a great idea. Hi, I'm Brenda, 46, Lap Band scheduled for Nov 14th in Mexico.    Really excited, 285 now and am shooting for 170 (I am guessing that is a good goal for a 5'10" female).  May go lower once I get there.      I will be 47 Nov 21st so I want to hit goal or pass it by my 48th b-day 11/08.   I am a big fan of "Eggface" and am looking forward to (and saving for) PS around this time next year....my birthday present to myself!  She just had it and keeps us all informed!
