Hello, My name is Debra and I live in Keizer, I am 48 yrs old. On October 22, I went to the info meeting at OHSU, and received my packet. Today, I went to my primary to get the process started to get OHSU my records, and the 1st letter written for the insurance company. I am now at 373, I am losing slowly. I started at 377. Hope that the people in this area to be able to start a support group. Have a great day everybody.

Ohhh this is fun,, Kelly George, 44 just had a new birthday I am in Gresham oregon. had surgery bypass fen 16th 07 started 303 down to 229 went from size 30-32 or 24 streachy pants and xxxl to xl and size 18 right now. Dr Jan is my Dr and i had such a great experence with him. I feel the best I have ever felt in my adult years past the age of 25, in the last few months I have enjoyed life more than ever in my life I am looking forward to the rest of my life

Tina 43 I am in Beaverton highest weight 304 today 283. I have done all of the required pre-meet the surgeon tests except the psych evaluation. I just haven't had time to sit down and call around to find someone for the appointment. Monday is the day for sure! I want lapband and will have it at OHSU.

I've been an Oregonian all my life so I am on the Oregon boards more than anywhere else. Vancouver WA is just a suburb of Portland anyway!

Anyhoo,

Im Jennifer. Highest weight 260. Today 255. I am a self pay RUNNING for the border in December of this year. I'll be having a lap RNY with Dr. Valencia in Ensenada for about 13K which is for the surgery, hospital, and motel stay, as well as the round trip flight down there with my husband for a week!
