Update on Brenda

Hi all!  I just heard that Brenda is showing a little improvement, Her right lung has cleared up a bit, she had a little urine output which means her kidneys are starting to function some.  The docs cut her ventilator back by half and she did ok, and they are going to cut back on some of the induced coma drugs to see if she responds well.  I will hear an update tomorrow am sometime after 9am, and I will post to let you all know. Please keep praying for her and sending positive thoughts her way. Thanks amy

Good news, I've been saying prayers also. Just made me so sad to read her excitement before and than to have this happen. We all are thinking and praying for her and are so glad to hear there is some improvement.

Thanks for the update Amy.  I'm glad she is showing some improvement.  I posted for prayers for her on the main board, so she has prayer warriors all over the nation praying for her recovery.  I will continue to keep her in prayer and will anxiously await your update tomorrow.

Amy, I can't tell you how relieved I am to read this today. I kept waking up last night, worrying about her and her family, and praying for her quick and total recovery. Thank you so much for keeping us posted! Take care, Lisa

Well, I feel lost!  Go to Pittsburgh then on to Vegas and look what happens!  I saw Kim's post on the main page and ran over here. I'm glad to see an update but, still, I guess being blissfully unaware someone so sweet as Brenda was having problems, well, dang!  Bubble burst.  I forgot, where did she have her surgery?  I'm going to have to hunt her down -- hum, wonder what I can bring back from Vegas...  Anyway, thanks for the update!
