Kaiser Insurance and LapBand

Has anyone travelled out of state for the LapBand surgery at Kaiser Permanente? LapBand is covered under my policy, however the closest facility that does the surgery is in San Francisco. Why don't they do it at Sunnyside?? UGHHH!

I hear maybe in the coming yrs they might do the Lap band. Right now all they do is the RNY. Peggy
