Sleep Study

I will be having my overnite sleep study in a swanky hotel near the Center for Health and Healing at OHSU in December.  I will be sleeping on a real bed in a hotel room while the techs monitor me from another room.  I will be treated to a free breakfast at the hotel in the morning. Anybody here have theirs done in a place like that?

No, yours sounds wonderful.  Mine was done at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene.  The room was horrible, and even worse, the bathroom was down the hallway and around the corner.

Sounds like a situation that occurs in dorms.  Are you sure that you didn't stay in one at U of O, since the university is close to the hospital? You deserve better treatment!

Wow Vicki - I had a real room in the sleep center with a real bed, but there was no breakfast in the morning.  I really just wanted to get out of there and get home so I could wash the goop out of my hair! Linda

Don't blame you for wanting to go home to wash all that goop off your hair!  Looks like the room didn't include a shower.  But at least you had the comfort of a real bed.

Wow Vicki, lucky you! My OHSU sleep study was in the Hatfield Center (on the Hill), on a floor with offices in it! We had to be kicked out early the next day before the workers got there. The view out my window was of medical students working in the library.  It was a very bare-bones room with fluorescent lighting and a thin mattress. And as for breakfast, forget it! So, I'm very glad to hear they have improved the facilities. Enjoy!

Looks like you were in a dorm-like situation at the Hatfield Research Center.  Do you remember what floor you were on? I had an appointment earlier this week at the Sleep Medicine Clinic on the 13th floor of the same building.  Is that spooky or what! You could have eaten breakfast at the Marquam Cafe on the 9th floor or the 3rd floor of the hospital if you had wanted to.
