December Surgery Buddy??

I live in Vancouver WA, but am closer to most of the members living in Oregon, so.... anyone having RNY surgery in December or close? I would love to find a buddy to share the journey with. I am having RNY with Dr. Salvador Valencia in Ensenada Mexico. Before anyone judges for leaving the country for this surgery, I want to let everyone know he TEACHES the doctors at UCLA in Los Angeles his new "Valencia Method" of laproscopic RNY. He is very talented and educated and I trust him MORE than I trust American doctors. Thanks, Jen

Jen - I've already had my surgery, but just want to wish you the very best.  As for surgery in Mexico, it's just like here -- there are good docs and bad docs everywhere.  I hope you have the very best. Linda
