Looking for plastic surgery info

I am wondering if there is anyone out there that has BCBS insurance (employee of the state), has had WLS and has tried to get the insurance to pay for plastics?  If there is someone out there I am surious to know how you got it approved, what doctors you used, etc.  I know that BCBS has just started covering the WLS since 2006 so I didn't know if there has been anyone ready for plastics yet.  I definately need the girls lifted, arms done and the apron gone. I notice that you're in ID and you're talking about being an employee of the state.  Are you employed with the State of OR or State of ID?

I work for the state of Oregon and have BCBS insurance through PEBB.

Check your plan book and see if PS is covered yet.  If no information on there, then call your state employee benefits department.  Call your insurance company only as a last resort.

Sometimes your insurance will cover it if there is problems with infection or other skin problems due to excess skin. It may not cover the twins, but momma's apron and batwoman's wings may be covered.

I had to self pay my plastic surgery, I have photo's posted on my profile. I went to OSHU and say Julia Hansen, she is so excellent, I've even sent a few friends who were happy with her as well. I doubt that Insurance will pay at OSHU. But if you have to pay any way its worth it ! Gail
