BABY STEPS
Too cool, Brandon! There's no stopping you now!
I guess you'll just need to go to more games to get some more exercise in (and pay for those lovely cheap seats miles away from everyone else). Oh, and to even get MORE exercise, get in your water so you have to take multiple potty breaks!
Congrats on those baby steps!
Lori
Duck. Um, in the water, maybe, lol! Actually it was PSU for me (ick). My sister, a veterinarian, had to go to OSU and we were heavy into 4-H which was also sponsored by the land grant colleges (OSU).
Technically, my heart doesn't bleed any of those colors, lol.
You know, my goal ever since I started putting on weight was to be able to walk to the top of Multnomah Falls. Never been able to do that. Now, you get up here after surgery and we'll make a day of it somehow. I have to get my butt out of the wheelchair first.
I just went to OMSI and looked at the Body Worlds 3 exhibit (absolutely stunning -- except for the one part where the had an overweight man dissected and these THIN people were busy oohing and ahhing over how could the man have walked and gotten around and there I was, 60 pounds heavier than the dead man using my walker to get around; felt a bit like an out-of-place chump). And i am exhausted! Used my walker a lot but still had to take a few steps... I'm getting there. Nothing like your accomplishment, though.
I'm a slave master ONLY to get you to not get to the point I'm at...
Take care,
Lori
I do like the orange and black, graduated from OSU in '77...gosh, that was so many years ago! Really makes me feel old typing that! :)
I heard teh Body Worlds Exhibit was really cool......is that the one where they use the real skin? There were pictures in our local paper.
You just keep working on those Baby Steps. If I had to look at the entire picture,I think I would fail. But, if I make realistic "small" goals, then I know that they are attainable.
You can do it to Lori...you used your walker, but you did take some steps.....exhausted, but you did it. And perhaps tomorrow you will be able to take a few more steps.....I will help root you on!
I visited Multnomah Falls when I was a kid, I had relatives that lived on Mount Scott......have fond memories of Portland.....eventually, I will return and we will climb it together, when you are ready, you let me know!
Brandon
Yes, real skin, muscle, brains and other organs that have been preserved in a special plasticization process. Makes you wonder how all of that stuff really fits inside of you!
As far as Multnomah Falls, its a date!
Oh, and colleges, well, I started at New Mexico Tech so once a Miner '49er, always a Miner '49er, lol!
