I see the price posted at 10,000. but does that pay for every thing including hospital. and if it is not how much more is it?

There's prabably always gonna be extras. for instance, when I had a RNY at Bay Area Hospital, i was required to stay in town for a week for followups to surgery. So that cost some. Also the anestheisia bill may not be included in that as it's usually billed extra, but then it could be included in the price you saw too. The Red Lion Inn in Coos Bay offers discounts if you are in town for surgery. If you are going to Bay Area Hospital, they also have RV hookups there to save money. But as a rule of thumb, always plan on it costing a little more. After all, It's better to be surprised at it costing less than you had planned than more.

You could always call them and have them send you an information packet. They sent me one!  It pretty much spelled it all out!  

For what its worth, I really love staying at the Edgewater Inn.  I don't know if they offer a hospital discount or not (I would think they would).  I've found them to always be clean and reasonable.  Here's a link:  http://www.theedgewaterinn.com/.  You'll want the Coos Bay location.  Honestly, its the only place we stay when we go to CB (I have family there). You could also stay at the Mill Casino...  Decent rooms but Edgewater's rooms are larger and I've found them to be more comfortable... Lori

Believe it or not that really does cover most of everythig, I only had to pay for the education class which was $200 I think and the swollow test at the hospital the day after which was around $175.00  Call the office they will give you the break down. Good luck ! gail
