It will get better!  I promise.  Keep a glass by you and just try to sip, sip, sip.  Rest as much as you can.  Sleep, watch a movie, sleep some more, but try to sip as you can (mostly when you're awake! ).  I did feel yucky the first few days, but it gets better all the time.  I'm almot 8 weeks out now and I feel great! It will get better as the days go by, I at first did not think so, the 1st couple of months, I was really sick.  I have a cousin who had the surgery 8 yrs ago, between her and my husband's support, things did get miraculously better.  I am now almost 13 months out and feel fantastic.  I am down 264 lbs and feel like a big weight has been lifted off me.  I lost most of my weight pre-op. Yes, it should get better.  But, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't be afraid to call Dr. Jan (I did).  Even on the weekend!  He wouldn't want you to be absolutely miserable. Lori
