The meeting on August 22^nd was a great success, thanks to all that attended.  We talked about how the BAND has affected our lives, swapped some stories, talked about the challenges faced in the past and the ones still to come.

Feel free to bring your dinner , as there is a microwave, coffee, ho****er, and magic bullet all readily available.  The office stocks the basic picnic supplies. On pleasant nights we can enjoy each others company outside.

Meetings are scheduled every three weeks starting at about 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, with the days of the week rotating to accommodate everyone’s schedule.  Our meetings are meant to be enjoyable and about us and how we life our lives with the BAND.  Is there something you want to discuss or need help with?  Bring your concerns, questions and dilemmas will you and let us help you, or if you have none them maybe your insight is just what someone else is seeking.  Some thoughts for discussion: new food items you found, vitamins, drinks, eating out, food diaries…what is your trick to keep on top of this new way of life.  

Clothing Table:  “Larger” no longer needed clothing to share with others.   Sample Table:  You may bring a food/drink item you think could be enjoyed by others.

Oh I liked Dr. Tersigni. Loved the Bay Area Hosp. too. Now why wasn't there a support group for RNY's in Milwaukie when I needed one? lol
