BMI under 40!!!

I had my surgery on 6/29/07.  At around the 6 week mark I had to go in and have an endoscopy/dialation done.  I was good for about a week and then I had to go back up again and have another round last week.  Let's hope it's two times the charm and not 3.   I got on the scale this morning and found that I have lost 47lbs and my bmi is now under 40.  This is a milestone for me.  Just the idea that it's under 40!  I am very excited.  This is my second short term goal met.  Now on to the next goal!

Hi Leslie,  you're really doing great-congratulations! I also had to go in for dilations, and it took 4 times total to keep the stricture from coming back. Hopefully you won't need to go in again for another, but at least it's a quick procedure that works! What a great milestone to have an under 40 BMI-that must feel wonderful!

Wow, 4 dialations??  Dr. Jan said that it is common for people to need two to three...I am seriously hoping I don't have to have the third one.  I just started a new job.  I am feeling like a whole new person...new body and new job!  Thanks for the support!
