Reminder - Eugene/Springfield Meeting this Saturday

If you haven't received an email about the get-together this weekend, please PM me your email address.  The gathering will be at my house Saturday, September 8th, from noon - whenever.  I didn't get as much done in the backyard as I would have liked this weekend, so things are still a bit messy, but at least we'll have a place to meet and chat.  Bring a post-surgery friendly food (not a lot) and the recipe to share with others.  If any of you are meat eaters and would like to grill, I do have a gas grill.  I'm not quite comfortable with meat yet.  Hopefully, some day -- I miss it.  I'll have things to drink and I have nine yard chairs.  That may be enough, but if you have a chair you can bring, that would be great.  I can't wait to see you all!  I hope many of you can make it.  If you're new and would like to join us, please PM me and I'll add you to the list. Hi Julia!  I think Jo Ann is coming, Donna may be there, Brandon is coming (maybe late), I think I've heard from a few others.  I know Darla is going on a horseback ride, so she can't come, but I should send out another reminder email.  I hope Kim can join us.  I know she's been awfully busy.  I'm also hoping I've picked a weekend when Jackie's not off for a motorcycle ride.  I'll go send out another reminder now. Hi Linda, I'm going to come as far as I know, even though my brother and sister-in-law are coming down this way from Portland for a visit.  I'll just drive up the night before or early morning on Saturday and drive back.  Sounds nuts, but I do it all the time.  Living way out here in the country sort of forces you to do that.  Looking forward to meeting everyone.  Hope I don't get lost. I forgot to mention that, if we get bored chatting, or if there are kids who want to be more active, I live about a block and a half from Washington Park.  I think I still have a whiffle ball and whiffle bat, and maybe a tennis racket around somewhere.  It it's hot, sometimes they have the wading pool open.  Linda

My husband, Henry and I plan to come.  We will be kidless! Woo hoo! Adult time!

Linda-  I would love to come and meet everyone!  I will PM you for the address. I can bring a couple folding chairs to help with seating.
