I finally got a date

I am so excited. I went and saw the surgeon today and got a date for October 12. I am so happy because I have Kaiser and have been in the program since August of last year.

Congratulations!  Where are you having surgery?  Are you having a band, RNY?  Who's your surgeon?  I wish you the very best.  Read all you can so you'll know what to expect.  There's so much good information out there. Linda

I will be having my surgery at Kaiser Sunnyside. I am trying to figure out how to update my profile. It is RNY with Dr. Ludeman.  I have been watching your ticker and you are doing great. Keep up the great work. Thank you, Brenda

  Congratulations, Brenda!  That is GREAT!!!!!  I couldn't be happier for you!  I bet you're sitting on pins & needles now!  Hee hee....  I'm sorry I missed you guys @ the Support Group meeting last Saturday.  I was so disappointed I ended up not being able to make it, but I will be @ the next one for SURE!!!  A gal in my "Freedom from Diets" class went to it for the first time last Saturday and said it was really cool!!   I sent in my packet last week and am waiting a call from the bariatric dept. @ Kaiser....  I hope it doesn't take too long!!!!   Congrats again, Brenda!! Brenda that is wonderful news.  I know how excited you are because I meet with Dr. Moiel on Friday the 31st to get my date.  So Amykins, you and I should all be getting this done at about the same time.  If you learn anything you think would be helpful for us fellow Kaiser folk, let us know.
